Responsibilities:

  • Run the day-to-day operations of the VFBL.
  • Levies fines and punishments
  • Manages the VFBL Weekly Disk.
  • Collects series results.
  • Simulates missing or incomplete series.
  • Makes unilateral decisions when VFBL Officers are not available.

    Responsibilities:

  • Handles all rules protests
  • Chairs Rule Change Committee.


    • Vice-Commissioner, Manager Relations: Charlie Paul

    Responsibilities:

  • Recruits new owners.
  • New owner liaison.


    • Vice-Commissioner, Electronic Media: Kevin Hitt

    Responsibilities:

  • Report on weekly VFBL activity content for the web site.
  • The web site reports will be published on Tuesdays unless there are extenuating circumstances. (a) These reports will show: the latest standings, match-ups for the current week, roster moves of the previous week, results of the previous week?s games, rule violations and penalties, Disabled List moves and timings, and usage overages of players.
  • Administrates league web site.
  • Creates and maintains ownership email and contact list.


    • The powers of the administration as defined in rule 4.02:

    4.02
    VFBL Management shall consist of the five officers named in rule section 4.01. Where multiple owners hold a single office, they will split the voting power of that office. (In addition to the day-to-day management of league affairs, VFBL Management shall have the authority to take the following actions, dependant on the number of approval votes:

  • Hire/Fire owners (4 out of 5 votes).
  • Fine owners for usage violations (Commissioner).
  • Fine owners for other reasons (4 out of 5 votes).
  • Bring rule change proposals to a vote (3 out of 5 votes).
  • Remove a VFBL officer (4 out of 5 votes).
  • Choose a VFBL officer (majority vote).
